Message	transmission tunnel. It reduced some sound and totally eliminated the heat on my right leg. Definitely worth it! About 1year later I upgraded my stereo system and put the same deadening material in the hatch area and doors. My main dial was an effort to help reduce some drone. Didn't really help with the drone but did improve the sound quality of the speakers and reduce some of the tire roar. When I researched sound deadening material the second step required is to add either a closed or open cell foam to help with the attenuation. I haven't completed this but I am more interested in side branch resonators or venturii to reduce the drone of the 3" exhaust.
