So I heavily re-did my 96 Slicktop with generous amounts of Dynaliner and Dynamat in the doors, hatch and headliner. It reduced the noise dramatically, so much so that I really notice wind noise from the 21 year old door seals, and a rear wheel bearing in the way out LOL. Re:doors. It made a huge difference to do the doors on my convertibles. Reduced the road noise and keeps the music in the car. It felt like doubling up the amp. Re: factory sound deadening. My 90 NA SlickTTop has the best factory sound dealing by far. Certainly better than the 96 (which Nissan really cheaped out on) and somewhat better than the VerTTs (both 93s).
