| Some smaller high end speaker suppliers have been bought out and put under the control of previous competitors. That has been both bad and good for the consumer but it's the nature of business. You really can't go wrong anymore with speakers because the market is so competitive. There are only two unique systems I have seen in the last twenty years for speakers: The Image Dynamics horn loaded compression drivers, which dominated IASCA for years, and the CDT Audio front imaging system. I have yet to figure out how to replicate or even imitate the sound of either of those systems using typical components.
