That is good advice. I did recently replace the alternator with a high amp model (180 amp I believe). I also did the "Big 3" upgrade at the time to eliminate any power issues. This was all due to my previous alternator failing due to a power steering leak. High-pressure hose and power steering pump were replaced as well during a 120k service. I've been busy taking care of a lot of mechanical issues / maintenance and now moving toward the interior.
I am going to be pulling up the carpet just to see what I'm dealing with wiring wise. Apparently there is a kill switch installed somewhere as well that the previous owner mentioned (this is 10 years ago almost), so I should really know what I'm working with.
