Message I could probably dig up a map of the valve timing for it. It does work incredibly well. I believe the VQs have about 40° of advance at peak. The oil feed into the cam sprocket is done through these small covers on the timing chain cover.

It would certainly be neat to have this on the VG. However, I wouldn't want a standalone controller for it, but rather have it ECU controlled (Haltech Elite as an example). There would also be advantages to having a crank trigger for ignition timing vs. the CAS.

What would be likely easier is to have a system similar to the VR30s that have an electronic method to vary cam timing. No oil lines/feeds to worry about.
