BTW, if they were lugging the engine on the first test, that may drive up the NOx content (which is high combustion temperatures). The high combustion temps (which shows up as high NOx), is the reason cars have EGR valves. That valve bleeds 'inert' gases into the combustion process from the exhaust system, to effectively quell some of the hot combustion that would normally take place if a good, clean, air and fuel mix were to burn in the chamber. By filling in a bit with inert gases, the combustion temps go down (and so does the NOx content). Vinnie
