Message	to the earlier years due to emissions and cost savings changes - Nissan eliminated the VTCs. Given this is an OBDII system car and was only sold in the US for 1 year in small quantities the aftermarket go fast tuning goodies are almost non existent. The CA ECU vs non CA will be of neglible difference. The good news, you are getting a pretty rare car!
