Message	friendly. Going the JDM route will just prolong the agony. That engine will take a significant prep effort and the whole engine swap process will just add more costs (i.e., other things will come up - motor mounts, power steering hi pressure line, etc). Getting rid of your current Z and getting another is also an option but you'll still have high repair and MTCE costs since these cars are now decently old. What's your budget for a different car and what kind of yearly MTCE cost are you looking to see (roughly)? This helps to narrow the selection range.
