I am running my Z right now with just the AAC and it works fine. Cold starts with E85 like a champ. The factory system is pointless as far as I can tell. Even other cars from that era (MKIV Supra for example) only used one device to control idle under all conditions.

I have used a DBW Throttle body on a car before and let it control everything to do with idle. Its how a lot of new cars do things. Works just fine and greatly simplifies the rest of the system.

DBW throttle bodies for the Z with a standalone that could manipulate them for traction control would be awesome. I can't wait for someone to make this happen!
