Message	Thanks for picking up on the reference marker, noticed that after I sent off the pic. Vickers is a more recognized scale, as its close to Brinell hardness. You are measuring two axis vs just one long axis. For micro structures, Vickers is preferred, I believe. We use Knoop also, but limited to thin coating.
