So I got tired of my puny brakes and decided to do something about it. I ordered the 370z Akebono front kit from CZP and picked them up on Friday. The kit is an easy install although I had to very slightly dremel one of the holes in the driver side bracket so that the supplied bolt would fit through. It was no fault of the bracket as one of the bolts provided was a tad bit different (wider at the top, unthreaded portion by the head). The Akebonos are massive compared to the tiny stock calipers and rotors. My Work Meister's that I ordered specifically for bigger front brakes barely fit them due to the 14" rotors and the design of the 3 piece wheel, so I put some 5mm spacers on just for peace of mind and extra clearance. After bedding in the pads, performance is much improved over stock and I'm very happy with them, although I will definitely opt for the lighter two piece rotors in the future so that I can get rid of the boat anchors that are on there now...I should have bought them to begin with :-/ Check them out:
