50# of the front of the Z will be a noticeable difference. A custom oil pan would be reasonable to produce. *Anyone serous enough to go this rout should also be serious to go Dry Sump oiling over the other larger oil pan options currently available. *Anyone serious enough to go the rout should be planning on having their heads done & most likely ask cams/valves & adjustable gears. Stock heads vs ones that have had work done & a different story. *** Additionally, with a larger cylinder bore the valves can he de-schrouded a great deal more than what stock is & higher flow # can be achieved. *Motors like the VQ35/VQ37 are much taller & present their challenges as well. *I believe that the challenges we have with the rear 5 & 6 cylinders is due to having a 3/4" long rear runner on our long manifolds & exhaust gas revision.
