Message 1. clogged w. rust and sludge - no heat
2. leaking vanes in the core or tubes - leaking out of lower vents
3. leaking flow valve - leaking out of lower vents

Other problems could be the mode door motors being dead or stripped threads and inoperational defrost for example.

A new core comes as an assembly w. new tubes attached.
