| I recently sent in an application to Grundy for a stated value policy. Long story short they denied me, saying the value was unrealistic and that the most they would insure it for is $25k. This is much too low for what has been done to the car and what I find interesting is they never once ask what specific modifications have been done. My question is, has anyone here actually received a higher stated value policy than $25k for their Z? Mine is a 1991 so I'm sure people with 92-96 might receive a slightly higher policy but I'd imagine not by much. If you have received a higher stated value policy did you have to call and negotiate for it? Tips? While $25k is better than what you would receive from a regular insurance policy its not nearly enough if my car is totalled. Thanks in advance for any help!
