Message	They had the "gap" year with no Z car produced and there was a lot of speculation about Nissan's plans. It was at a time when all of the major Japanese sports cars were very pricey (Supra, 3000GT, RX-7, 300zx) and sales were down. There was talk of a mid-engine car, and also of a 240Z "revival car. (pictures Bernie posted do bear a strong 240Z resemblance) Apparently Nissan went in a different direction.
