Message	series will result in additive resistance, reduced voltage, and a dimmer downstream light. parallel gives the ability to pull down the total resistance of the circuit while retaining 12V at the light. If all the stars and planets align perfectly, the same resistance as the OE setup can be matched and the warning light's functionality should be retained.
