Unfortunately I threw away the plugs but I kept the coil packs. I'd be happy to send them to you to see if it was them and determine the failure mode. Your read is accurate, I am not sure if it was one or both spark plugs or coil packs...or even some other variable that I (accidently) fixed in the process. I will say that during my trouble-shooting, I left the ignition "on" a few times (checking for voltages/continuity/etc...) and at least two coilpacks got so hot that they smoked and a little black insulation glue started bubbling out (but I do not recall seeing that on these). tbaranek@earthlink.net
