Message	hose clamp around the sensor body, crimp an non-insulated spaded terminal or similar to the ground wire and before fully tightening the clamp slip the crimped terminal under the band. As long as the body of the sensor is fairly clean and corrosion free all should be good. I this beats trying to get a soldering iron into that tight space.
