All I can say is I have an authentic valet key (red) and I can do everything that the master key can do (I have both a black and titanium key). I got the cut identical to the titanium key and I can still open the glovebox. If what you are saying about getting the valet key copied from the master key is true, then I'm not supposed to be able to open the glovebox with my valet key but yet I can. So if it is not a difference in cut, what is it? And yes I know the grooves are different but I'm still doing everything the master key can do regardless...
