First off, congrats on the purchase! Ive had mine for a year or two now. Overall, its a pretty decent car. I think youll find that people treat you like the stereotypical BMW driver (which in a roundabout way reinforces the stereotype). Other things I cant stand about the car: The unlock button isnt on the doors, its only on the center console (I understand they changed that recently though), the cup holders are terrible, the auto wipers dont work well at low speeds or in very light rain, and you have to pull the handle twice to actually get the door to open. It is comfortable to drive, and unassumingly quick. Also, ANYONE can drive these cars. You can put nearly anyone behind the wheel and the car will make them look like a rock star. It's extremely forgiving.
