| My air conditioning has been out for several years now. Completely discharged, so there is no topping up with the old refrigerant. What do you recommend? Full conversion to the new refrigerant? Is there a vendor in Chicagoland that anybody can recommend? I read about plenty of half-way measures (Hot Shot, etc.) but they seem like they are still environmentally hazardous and likely to cause problems later. Anybody disagree? If so, how long have you been running one of these substitutes?
