| I have never had a negative experience with buying from the classifieds here until now. I have never left negative comments or feedback about anyone on this forum until now. However, I have run out of options and want to prevent others from having the same issue that I am experiencing which amounts to having $350 stolen. In a nutshell, aarondc805, Aaron Clements from Santa Barbara, CA, has my money $350 (paid April 19) and has the parts that he never shipped me (said he would have them out in about a week). He was and is delayed in his communication, and his continued listing of the said parts as still for sale in bumped posts in the classified section led me to believe he was not going to ever ship them. I asked to cancel my order and for a refund (April 29 10 days later). He asked if I would wait until he got paid and I replied that I preferred he refund the money promptly that night. I got no response so I started a dispute with paypal to document everything( April 30). He finally stated that he would refund my money after he got paid on 5/6/16. When he failed to refund me on 5/6/16 I escalated the dispute to a claim with paypal on 5/7/16 after warning him I was about to do so. 18 days after payment. I have been polite and more than patient in dealing with him. He puts me off and doesn’t respond in a timely manner and then doesn’t make things right. He was selling parts that were still on his car. I discovered more than one example of members having trouble with buying from him. My advise to to steer clear from buying anything from aarondc8805 unless you want to risk losing your money like I did. I am now relying on Paypal to get me my $350. He still has the ability to issue the refund at anytime which would resolve the issue but he hasn’t. I feel he has left me no choice but to warn others of his actions.
