2 z32 and have never had any issues getting the Trans back in place . Because I was using stock type clutches. It is defiantly longer. I never got a measuring tape out and measured how much but it's defiantly more of a pain in the ass to get in, without dropping the front cross member it will not go on. the input shaft hits on the pressure plate and even when I managed to get it inside the pressure plate I was 1/2 of an inch (the width of the shaft) away from getting the splines to line up. But now that I've tried it that way I will do it from now on. Because not only does it give you more room to wiggle the trans into place but also makes installing the top 2 bolts super easy.
