Message I've searched. 300 degree makes one, several people have them installed and haul tires and such to the track. I've seen one guy that tows a jet ski. But, there are a few comments that I'm wondering the validity on. So, here is my question. I want to take my bike to florida this weekend. 1000mi one way and then back 9 days later. I looked into renting. ~700 for vehicle. I looked into U haul rental two one way trips ~1500. I looked at putting a hitch on the ISF. Lexus says no way absolutely not. The Z is the last option and much cheaper at 250 for a curt hitch kit.

N/A 5spd
150k on my z.
10k on a 120k maintenance.
5k on new clutch.
Mechanically the car is great.

Trailer weight empty 350lbs.
Bike weight 400 wet.

So 750~ pounds loaded and I won't have a passenger. Maybe what? 100lbs tongue weight? So I'm within the weight specs of the hitch. I found one comment that scared me. 1000lb max on an NA Auto. I'd fry the clutch if I tried towing with a 5 spd. That comment was several years ago. I can't see this being valid. But I'm no expert on towing anything so I'd rather ask.

Thank you in advance for the non flame answers :)
