Message	the intake and exhaust tracts, they are going to have any irregularities along the tracts smoothed over and the tracts opened up, for better, less turbulent, air flow through the system. So, if done properly, it won't necessarily look pretty on the motor, and you'll gain a few HP due to increased airflow into the cylinders.
