I'm interested to know the difference. From what I understand, when you are hitting the 120psi oil pump relief, it is returning the excess oil back to the sump instead of feeding the pressurized oil gallery? For those with the factory oil cooler setup, at 60psi the valve in the oil filter tree opens and allows oil to flow through the cooler which has a restrictor in one of the lines. This causes some of the oil pressure to be bled off because it returns to the sump. Keeping you from reaching the oil pump relief limit. If you still did not see reduced oil pressures with the valve, would you consider lowering the oil viscosity? I also don't like running over 100psi because my Autometer gauge sender is only rated at 110% of its highest value so its rated to 110psi.
