Normal operating oil temp is around 170F and I've seen it climb to 210F on a mountain pass with steady boost. On the track I've seen it peak at 230F. I haven't seen the track yet with my current setup, I was previously running 5w40 Rotella T6. I can't remember 100% what my bearing clearances were, I think I have them written down somewhere. Fairly sure they were on the high end of the OEM range. I'd guess 0.002". I'm running OEM graded bearings, but not the grades specified by the markings. I changed them to get the clearances I was aiming for. Strange that not many people seem to be running King bearings on here. I couldn't even find many retailers online when I googled VG30DETT King Bearings.
