Why are you running such a heavy weight on a brand new rebuild? 20w50 is something I would run on an old tired engine that blows smoke. You probably have extremely high oil pressure. On my recent rebuild, I'm running 5w30 and see close to 100psi on a cold start, 20psi warm idle and 40-50psi at 3000rpm cruise. I would not want to step it up to a thicker oil weight. I've never heard of anyone running King's bearings on the VG, not to say they aren't any good. It just seems that Clevite, ACL, or OEM bearings are the norm. Was you engine block oil galley holes thoroughly cleaned during the rebuild? How about the crankshaft oiling holes? I assume you are referring to the hose at the bottom of this photo that is the change in design over a previously blocked off oil cooler feed line for the Z1 kit? https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/images/1231l.jpg
