You'll still need a multimeter to test for a failing injector (<> 10-14 ohm) I agree with you on injector failure, it's not always 'cut and dried'..... there is often a very grey area. These cars can be a real PITA when they're not running right. That's why my 300zx toolbox has become a regular arsenal of weaponry....... and I'm still not sure if I have everything covered.
