Figured it was probably time to finally post a picture of my Z. a weekend trip to La Crosse, WI for my anniversary and happened to find a photo op on the Mississippi. Not sure if there is a calendar in the works but count this as my entry - these are just a few from the stop.

Swift Springs: I have recently switched to a more street friendly suspension set-up, and it has made the Z MUCH more enjoyable to drive. I went from 12 kgf (fr), 8 kgf (r) with spherical bushings almost everywhere, to 7/5 kgf Swift springs with Z1 street FUCA's, and SPC for all other components. I also had no bushings between my top mounts, so I made some 7/16" thick rubber bushings from a very dense rubber sheet I had laying around.

The ride is night and day better. The dampers are much more responsive, the car stays planted through choppy corners, and somehow I lost very little steering feel. I feel much more confident, simply because the car is much more predictable, not to mention comfortable. Body roll increased a little, but it has seemed to help with traction. I'm probably preaching to choir here, but stiff is certainly not the way to go for day to day street performance, and I cannot recommend the Swift springs enough to anyone on the fence. They are worth every penny. For those who are wondering, those were the Brembo 17Z's in the background above, which I'm getting ready to install this fall. Here's a progress pic. No paint yet, haven't switched the bleeders to the top yet, and no crossover pipes installed yet. What color do you guys think? I seriously can't decide... I have white, red, and black brembo stickers to use, and may consider painting the wheels. Opinions??
