give you my personal opinion. The ducts paint them the same color of the car. (IMHO) It gives the car a more updated look. The lip painted in black (specially matte black) disappears from afar and the beauty of the Type 2 lip is the support bars in the middle that makes it look aggressive and like part of the bumper not an add on. Also, the JDM bumper still retained the triangular shape, like Woody called it, (the sides lower than the front) and its flat nose which I never really liked. Whichever route you go with, I hope it comes out exactly like you envisioned.
