| This is what tyranny is all about, if you cant simply own everybody and everything to make them all do what you want...you simply create a byzantine mega-structure of laws and rules and regulations and ordinances and codes that are completely unfeasible to be 100% in accordance with 100% of the time and then when you need to shake someone down for money, politcal favors, whatever, you simply look for something to "gotcha" with. Let's presume for one moment that VW "cheated". I don't personally know if they did or not, nor do I thin kit matters, and I'll tell you why. How many VW's are in CA?
How many are in other smog test states and counties in the US? Do emissions tests in these locales NOT set a threshold that is determined to be "harmful" to the environment, air quality, etc etc? The BOGUS story here is that BIG EVIL VW, just like every cookie cutter evil corporation fable, "cheated" on their emissions tests for cars sold in the US by using a different ECU program to run the car so that it will pass the test. So how is it that all these cars, all these years, have been passing emissions tests in their states & municiplaities?? Did VW FORGET to remove the "cheater" program? Or is the real non-"cheater" program also not "harmful to the environment? How fucking stupid is everybody these days? This reminds me of all the retards who go around accusing athletes of "cheating" because they use steroids or pixie dust or whatever nonsense....and then it turns out the entire damn league uses them...so how is that "cheating" again? Sounds like a level playing field to me. Our national pasttime used to be baseball...now it is tearing down the successful through any means necessary. And so many of you are simply led by the nose by a transparently dishonest broadcast media that dupes you TIME AND TIME AGAIN, and yet you peopl enever fucking learn. You still listen to them.
