Message Burning more fuel is part of the advantage of running E85 - Stoichiometric efficiency requires 30% more fuel, which cools the intake charge that much more, combats detonation, allows you to advance the timing, and move the torque curve to the left.

If you're converting to E85 for fuel efficiency, then you're doing it wrong.
