Message to time based on what season / ambient temps are.

Personally, if I had access to E85, I would only run it with a flex fuel sensor wired into Haltech, and only for track days, or if I know I will burn off the tank in a week. You really don't want to leave the car with E85 in the tank as it tends to phase separate, and ethanol is very hygroscopic. Store the car with gasoline.

E85 also has challenges starting in colder weather. Most of that can be tuned out by adding more fuel for start up. But I bet that is part of the reason why we don't see E85 as much in Canada where you would really need a ton of fuel on start up in -40 weather.

E85 does have its advantage of being a cheaper alternative to race fuel, but some thought and care should be used.
