It's a massively underrated engine and sounds sexy as fuc#. You'll need a welder and some metal cutting tools, in addition to the standard stuff. I alsmost did this swap myself, before deciding on a stock TT at the last minute. Significant mods that must be performed: Modifying crossmember for 2 inches of additional clearance. Modifying oil pan and oil sump to fit new engine bay (you MIGHT not have to do this if you properly modify the crossmember). You'll need a transmission adapter plate if you're using a manual gearbox. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the auto box will bolt right up. Some sort of mend between the vh45de manifolds the rest of the Z exhaust .
