Outside of the fact that LSX swaps are becoming more and more popular, I think calling changing your engine block a "bolt on" project is a bit of a stretch. I understand that the intent is for a direct fitment replacement, but if you're (the potential customer) going to such great lengths, at such a high cost, you're probably going to be doing a few things along the way. The cost of the short block alone is not a realistic price tag for this project. Maybe if you were selling long blocks with a new intake plenum/manifold design as a drop-in package then I might change my tune, but this seems like a rather costly endeavor for the benefits it offers.
