How many design iterations will you be going through is also a relevant question, however if you are going with the above mentioned method (lost mold casting, printed) then that shouldn't add too much cost. In addition to your list of people, you might consider trying to find a master metallurgist specializing in your aluminum alloy to design your process parameters (smelt temp, mold temp, quench method, quench time, heat treat method, time, age method, time, machining iterations, etc). Being a mechanical engineer with experience in aerospace, I can tell you there is a lot more to it than you are considering off the bat. Your best chance of getting a business loan (which you will need to properly complete this project) is to gain 200% information and filter it as necessary. Email me if you need any help.
