Message	myself, but when I had huge chromed balogna slice exhaust tips on my Z back in '92, I asked the guys who did my custom exhaust install what to do about cleaning the tips, and they said each time I wash the car, wet a rag and lay it in some sand or dirt and then wipe down the tips with it and then rinse them off, and I was like AH WHAAAAA?????? They assured me it would be fine, so I tried it, and fer reals, guys, it really worked great! They stayed shiney and new for a long time.......................until my girlfriend at the time wrecked it for me :(
