Message	chrome or paint my plenum, even though I think they look GREAT when done so! Even though it's at a micro-level, polishing reduces surface area, and reduced surface area reduces the surface area's ability to radiate heat. Chroming is a layer as is a layer of paint, both of which would have at least a micro-level of insulation property. And these cars have enough heating issues. I'd be more interested in getting the vented hood. But hey, that's just me. Go for it and let us know how it turns out :)
