I posted this on Haltech's firums as well, I thought I might as well post it here as well. -------------------------- I will be getting a platinum pro for my Z32 and I need to decide if I will continue using my SBCid3 boost controller, or if I will use the integrated boost control. I have read the arguments using both ways extensively, I am undecided because of how well my current boost controller works but I also like the feature of having the computer to be able to control the boost depending on what the sensors are telling it. I suppose my main question is does the haltech actually control boost dependent on what the sensors are telling it such as the air intake temperature? I know it can control boost with other means when it needs to to use that engine saving feature as an example, but I am referring to normal driving conditions.
----------------------------------- A man once asked me if I took certain things seriously. I guess I made it seem like I didn't, but I do. Now people tell me I take things too seriously, but they don't understand. They don't care either. I don't feel they respect or understand what I'm trying to achieve. Perhaps it is their own sense of failure that is trying to sustain and validate itself. |
