Message There are many options available - silicone and viton included. Many favorable properties such as resistance to chemicals, oils, etc.

MIL-R-83248C Chemical-Resistant Viton® Fluoroelastomer—These O-rings resist boric acid, citric acid, isopropyl alcohol, fuels, and transmission fluids. Temperature range is 0° to 400° F. Durometer is A75 (medium). Color is black.

MIL-R-25988 Wide-Temperature Fluorosilicone—With a temperature range of -80° to 400° F, these O-rings stand up to a wide range of temperatures. They resist boric acid, citric acid, and ethanol. Durometer is A70 (medium). Color is blue.
