but check this out: a seasoned mechanic told me an old trick is to pour some kerosene into the cylinders and let it drain down past the rings for a few days which will not only "un-seize/freeze" them but will also actually lubricate them because kerosene has an oily property. Then do an oil-change and run for a short time like you said, and then do another oil-change. Sounds reasonable to me but what do you think?
