Message	The 2JZ is, in many ways, one of the best engines ever produced. The Getrag 6-spd was also one of the best/strongest transmissions in mass-production. I'm sure many would've preferred to see Toyota come up with an even better platform. The twin (sequential?) turbo straight 6 engines from BMW have had miserably failing high pressure fuel pumps (direct-injection). I'm not sure if they've resolved this yet. And last time I checked, there wasn't an aftermarket solution available yet. So you're pretty much at the mercy of BMW's chosen power output until someone produces HPFP internals that can handle more flow.
