cutting compound and Meguiars 205 polishing compound. I ordered the Meguiars compound and polishing pads from Amazon, the 6 inch versions. the cutting compound is on the thicker side but I only applied light to moderate pressure on the polisher for areas that had more scratches and swirls. Definitely go light your first pass and wipe off the compound and see if you need to apply more pressure. The Meguiars 105 cutting compound will also remove wetsanding scratches from 1200 grit and up but I have not gone the wet sanding route and probably won't unless I find some really deep scratches. After a few passes with the 205 Polish, the paint really had a nice glassy look. It really brought the "pearl" out in the black emerald pearl paint. I assume there was a ton of oxidation that was removed while polishing the clear coat.
