I figured I would correct some paint flaws instead of wrenching like usual. Picked up a Harbor Freight DA Polisher while on sale + 25% coupon so I dont have much $ invested in this job. I will most likely only use the polisher a few times a year. I did not take a before shot but take my word for it, there were plenty of water spots and swirl marks in the paint. Considering the paint is 21 years old it turned out great without any wet sanding prior. I still have the rest of the car to do so I'll be sure to post some upclose before and after pictures. Only the hatch is finished. So after a few passes with the cutting pad and Meguiar's 105, I followed that up with a few passes with Meguiars 205 and polish pad.
