Does anyone know of a chart of the volumetric efficiency of the stock Z? I've heard of numbers being tossed around like 85% but never any actual data. If I can't find anything I am going to calculate it using a datalog from the MAF sensor across the RPM range and convert it into units of mass air flow. Then calculating the theoretical mass air flow of the engine using the engine displacement, rpm and air density, I can compare the two values and extract an efficiency. An old thread started by Ash in 2006 sounded like he had planned to do something similar and posted a chart of airflow in CFM vs MAF voltage. http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1005640/FLOWBENCH-Extravaganza-MAS-Voltage-to-CFM-Chart.html I also found an Excel spreadsheet supposedly correlating the MAF voltage to flow in gram/seconds but as far as I can tell this would have to include density as some temperature which isn't listed. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aob6U2oBxtFOdDdNand5QmRYSFdjR3Q4ZkNTbmdKb2c&hl=en_US#gid=0
