Message	Last spring I picked up a Red Top and was able to get a free Optima charger after providing proof of purchase - they had a promotion going at the time. The charger appears to be good quality (although I have nothing to compare it to) - I'm using it to maintain the battery during the cold season. If you keep an eye out, Optima may run a similar promo again. The main reason I chose the Optima was to help reduce/eliminate venting and corrosion in that area of the engine bay. My Z has the common battery tray rust plus the hood shield material is disintegrating on that side. I figured it made sense to eliminate the most likely cause by upgrading to an AGM battery first before addressing those issues.
