Message hard closed throttle switch (plug on TPS case) was only used if the soft closed throttle switch was malfunctioning. You can get a closed throttle signal to consult by disconnecting the pigtail wire then reconnecting it even if the plug on the TPS case is not connected at all.

I've got a wideband and havent noticed any change in idle mixture with or without the TPS hard switch plugged in.

I've also watched the TPS voltage on consult and mine doesn't creep around at idle. Maybe you have a bad TPS?
