Oh, yes, I have been that route, this is my second one. Hurricane katrina took my first one away. I was a master BMW tech at Peake BMW in Kenner for 15 years. Built a 500hp motor but had all the machine work done by the pro's. I ran that motor hard for at least 4 years with no issues until it was flooded. I have a 1996TT now that was a theft recovery and was totaled due to a rod knock created when they hit the oil pan while running from the cops. All that said only EP Racing in Dallas/Fort worth are will I allow to touch my engine...
