Message	whatever might be strained or broken from tilting the engine forward which should give you better access to the top of the transmission from between the rear top of the engine and the firewall. Go after the top bolts with a very long wrench, OR using two combination wrenches hook the claw end of one wrench into the hoop end of the other which will make one long wrench and you can tape them together so they don't disconnect from each other. Lower the other hoop end (that is not part of the connection you just made between the two wrenches) down to the top bolt and get it on the bolt-head, make sure you got it fitted as snug as possible and, applying firm but careful pressure, break the bolt loose. Hopefully the bolt-head is in good enough condition that it won't slip, which makes it that much more important to get the hoop of the wrench fitted as snug as possible before you start applying pressure. You should get great leverage from the combined length of the two wrenches. Best of luck :)
